Château de L'Hospital, situated in Portets, in the heart of the Grvaes appellation, boasts both a prestigious past and a top-quality vineyard.
The magnificent neo-classic Château, a listed historic monument, bears witness to the estate's long history. The constant loving care lavished on the 17 hectares of vines by the Lafragette family, followed by a vinification process designed to bring out the intrinsic qualities of the terroir and the vintage, result in a deep red wine, with a typical nose of black fruit, soft round and full-bodied. The white wine is a marvellous example of the typical fruitiness and aromatic complexity of the Graves. The balance and elegance of the wines of L'Hospital are a sheer delight.
